Some do and some do not. For those that do collect and remit the tax automatically like Airbnb, VRBO, and Evolve, you still have to file an earnings report but you will not owe any money.
For those platforms that do not collect the tax automatically, by law, you must charge the 2% to the guest and remit it along with the earnings report to the A&P.
