If you are applying for a Short-Term Rental Permit in Bella Vista, Arkansas, your first step is to visit the City of Bella Vista website Short-Term Rental Information Page. 


All Short-Term Rental permit applications are handled by the City of Bella Vista and NOT the A&P. You will, however, need to provide the City proof of compliance with the A&P.


Luckily, it's easy:

  1. Complete the A&P Monthly Remittance Form.
  2. Email a fully completed form to info@discoverbellavistaar.com.
  3.  The A&P will then send you a Certificate of Compliance you can take to the City.

That's it!


Please remember the following:


  1. Airbnb, VRBO, and Evolve all now collect the A&P tax automatically. The Total Taxable Revenue asked for on the Remittance form DOES NOT INCLUDE those platforms.
  2. If you ONLY manage bookings on Airbnb, VRBO, and/or Evolve, your Total Taxable Revenue on the Remittance Form will be "0"... meaning you don't owe anything more.
  3. However, by law, you must still submit the Monthly Remittance form without payment to remain in Good Standing and receive a certificate for the permit process and be eligible for a permit renewal.
