Bella Vista is a recreational community. There is golf, boating, swimming, tennis, hiking, biking, fishing. Much of Bella Vista is a privately owned and maintained community and you need a guest pass to use the amenities. Seven golf courses are open to the public for the usual fees.

If you are visiting for several days, ask your vacation rental host for a guest pass, so you can enjoy everything Bella Vista has to offer. The Property Owners Association website has a comprehensive website.

If you are planning a day visit, there are plenty of things to see.

Hiking and Bike Trails

All trails in Bella Vista are multi-use except Tanyard Creek. Bikes are not permitted on that loop. The trails are rated according to skill level needed to have a good safe time. There are a number of sites that offer details about where to park, how long the trail, maps, and more. Some are designed with the challenges mountain bikers like to ride. Others are popular with families and beginners.

Two extensive trail systems are well known by mountain bike riders from all over.
